The start of something new

I can’t believe I’m actually saying this…but I’ve started a blog! I’ve talked about doing this for far too many years & never made it happen. Back when the idea of Just A Suitcase & A Dream came to me, it seemed like everyone had a blog. It was the “let’s start a podcast” of today’s era. I spent hours reading the mommy blogs about how to curl my hair, pack for a beach trip & the latest fall fashion trends…then convinced myself I didn’t fit in that space. Comparison man…don’t recommend. Anyways, I love the social media space on IG, I really do…but I figured it was time to start what I’ve thought about starting for the last 10+ years.

So here we are! My own little creative outlet that will bring me so much joy, even if my mom is only person to read here. I’m hoping to bring you all travel tips, fun trip itineraries, some budget friendly tricks, theme park updates, ways to bring the Disney magic to your home or even convince you that a trip to Disney doesn’t have to be stressful or dreadful…lookin’ at you dad;) 

I also did something recently I’ve wanted to do for some time now & became a travel agent! I mean, planning & booking trips for my family is a full-time hobby, so it just made sense. We live in beautiful southern California & have annual passes to multiple theme parks that we visit frequently to bring you the most recent updates & info. We’ve traveled to several different countries & cruised to many ports! So, whether you’re looking for a magical week at Disney World, a family beach vacation to Turks, a cruise to the Greek Isles, a kid free trip down to Cabo, a family reunion in Lake Tahoe, ski trip to Colorado, Babymoon in Hawaii, or a weekend away in Vegas…I’m confident I can create a trip your whole party will remember for years to come!

I look forward to sharing my thoughts here & bringing this small dream to life…even if it took me over 10 years to do!
